Belissimo M NRW - The riding horse maker!
Belissimo M NRW has had a dream career in sport par excellence right from the start: Top auction horse, record stallion test winner, Bundeschampion, finalist at the World Championships for Dressage Horses. In 2011 Belissmo started directly at advanced level after a long break from sport and under Hayley Beresford, Australia, he achieved victories and several placings in the. He completed the Olympic qualification for London 2012 as the best horse in the Australian team.
As a riding horse maker, Belissimo M is absolutely in a class of his own: Nine stallion performance test winners and four runner-up performance test winners among more than 50 licensed stallions so far are probably world records! 85 state premium mares, including Champion Mares in Hanover, Bavaria and Westphalia as well as the Rhineland Champion Mare in 2012, testify to his hereditary reliability. In addition, there are five Bundeschampions and, with an eye on the future, a two-time bronze medallist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden.
Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2018
Callaho's Benicio became 2011 with dream marks Bundeschampion of six-year-old dressage horses in Warendorf. Further championship winners and many highly paid auction horses worldwide - with 572,000 Euros, his daughter Belandra was one of the top horses at PSI in Ankum 2011 - testify to Belissimo's resounding heredity of riding quality. His oldest offspring were allowed to compete in advanced (S) level for the first time in 2011 - as many as fifteen of them were successful at this level in 2012, many of them already as winners. With Bella Rose under Isabell Werth, Belissimo continues to produce a multiple Grand Prix winner from his first crop and is currently the youngest champion squad horse in Germany!
In the FN breeding value estimation for dressage heredity, Belissimo has established itself for years among the top one percent of the sires (152 index points in 2013) - with a sensational certainty of 97%)! Furthermore Belissimo M is already represented this year with three of his sons among the top one percent of the best dressage sires.
This resounding heredity is the result of systematic performance breeding. The sire Beltain by Bolero was himself successful in the dressage arena up to advanced (S) level and descends from one of the most successful mare families in Hanover: Beltain's dam is a full sister of the Celle LdB Garibaldi I and II and granddam of Wolkenstein I and II as well as of the Grand Prix dressage horse Little Big Man; the Celle LdB Brentano I and II as well as Beauvalais (among others Vice World Champion 2002 in Jerez, Olympic bronze medalist in Athens 2004) also belong to this highly successful mare line.
The dam's sire Romadour II not only produced the most successful dressage horse of his time with the unforgotten Rembrandt under Nicole Uphoff, but through his son Rosenkavalier and his son Rubinstein he is also considered the founder of the R-line, one of the most valuable lines in dressage horse breeding worldwide. Belissimo's dam, Roxa, produced three successful full siblings up to advanced (S) level dressage with Boss: Bonnie Bianco, Baccarole and Boutique.
