His sire Best of Gold, now successful up to advanced (S***) level himself, already impressed as champion stallion at the saddle licensing with his exceptional basic gaits and rideability scores.
Besandro Gold also impresses with his brilliance of type and a far above-average basic quality.
The foundation for this quality lies primarily in the Edoste dam line, which guarantees performance ability and rideability time and again through both the sire and the dam side.
With this dam line, we as breeders of both the sire and the dam of Besandro Gold have, over a period of 20 years and with an average of four mares, bred a total of 15 licensed stallions as well as 20 dressage horses successful at advanced (S) level, five of which have even gone on to Grand Prix success.
The two dam sires Sandro Hit and De Niro rank among the most internationally successful dressage sires and have also had a decisive influence on the stallion’s outstanding basic quality.
His dam Edwina has already produced one licensed stallion successful at advanced level as well as two further dressage horses successful at advanced (S) level. His full sister Edwina Gold was reserve champion mare in 2024.
The granddam of Besandro Gold produced the Grand Prix successful Bellini Gold as well as the two licensed stallions Special Gold by Sandro Hit (Bundeschampionat finalist with Dorothee Schneider) and Sterngold by Sungold.
The licensed Vice Bundeschampion Landjuwel Gold, as well as the dressage horses Worcester and Welwitsch, both successful at advanced level, follow in the further generations.
Also noteworthy is the exceptional mare Eskoria with five licensed stallions (Exupery internationally successful at Grand Prix level, Serano Gold, Sungold, Diamond Gold all successful at advanced level, as well as Deus).
It is hardly possible to achieve more genetic security.
